The Challenge

Hotel owners struggle with high electricity bills. Guests often leave their air conditioning and lights on when they leave in the morning. Long check-in lines and lost keys also present major issues for management.

Our Solution

AdequateInfosoft created an all-in-one IoT device that controls the room's air conditioning, climate, and security simultaneously.

Energy Saving (PIR and AC Control)

We added a PIR motion sensor to the device. The system can detect if someone is in the room.

Occupancy Mode

When guests are in the room, they don’t need a remote. They can adjust the temperature and mode (Cool/Heat/Dry) from the app or bedside panel.

Energy Saver Mode

Once a guest leaves the room and no motion is detected, the device raises the air conditioning temperature or puts it on standby after 10 minutes.

Smart Lock and Auto Check-in/Check-out

We connected this system with the hotel's booking software (PMS) and smart locks. As soon as check-in is finished at the reception, a digital key is sent to the guest's phone.

The "Wow" Factor

A special feature is that when the smart lock is unlocked, our device recognizes the guest's arrival and immediately turns on the lights and adjusts the air conditioning to the preset temperature. Guests enjoy a cool room as soon as they enter.

Air Quality

Frequently closed hotel rooms can have humidity and odor issues. Our device sends humidity data to housekeeping so they can freshen up rooms before guests arrive.

The Impact

After installing this system, the hotel experienced a 30-40% reduction in energy costs. Additionally, guests rated the hotel 5 stars for its technology thanks to keyless entry and automated room control.

Development Process: How do we get started?

Often clients have just an "idea." Our approach to product development is clear and open.

Phase 1: Understanding the Requirements

Phase 2: Prototype (PoC)

What about hardware? Do you also make hardware?
We mainly focus on software and firmware and we help with PCB design and prototyping. For production, we can connect you with our trusted manufacturing partners. So, we provide manufacturing services as well.
Your idea is solely yours, will sign an NDA before we start working. All rights to the code and design will be transferred to you when the project is finished.
Both hardware and software need maintenance. We also offer post-project support (AMC). If there are any server issues or OS updates that cause bugs in the app, we can fix them.
