Transforming Industries with Our Solutions

IoT Temperature Monitoring in Cold Storage

Temperature control is vital for food safety, especially in the cold chain. A small drop in temperature can damage a client's goods worth millions.

To prevent addressing problems, we have created a smart system that uses a network of IoT sensors.

These sensors monitor the temperature and humidity in cold storage, refrigerated trucks, and warehouses in real time and send data to the cloud at regular intervals, allowing us to view and track the data in real time.

Our system sends a similar alert. Tiny sensors are placed on every rack. If the temperature in a cold storage room for medicines exceeds 2-8°C, a message is immediately sent to the owner, manager, and transporter.

Last year, a client saved milk worth 2.8 million because sensors alerted them 42 minutes before a compressor failure. Our software also uses past data to predict the electricity bill for the coming week. It’s simple.

Data you can trust

Minute-by-minute readings show what is happening.

Early warning

When temperatures drop or rise to a dangerous level, the system automatically sends alerts. This helps you act before problems occur.

Regulatory compliance

It makes sure you consistently follow food safety standards like HACCP, and all records are stored digitally.

Smart Fermentation and Brewing Monitoring

For a small cider company in Himachal, we developed a Smart Fermentation and Brewing Monitoring system.

After pouring apple juice, they had to wait 18 days. Sometimes the results were poor, and sometimes the acid levels were low.

We installed sensors for pH, sugar, pressure, and outside temperature in their tanks. We then taught the AI to review the last 42 batches and the weather data. Now it tells us when a batch will be perfect. They start bottling on the 11th day, and the taste is consistent. They waste 63% less product.

Brewing and fermentation is an art, but it is now based on science and data and our IoT solutions monitor key factors inside the fermentation tanks:

Temperature and pH levels

Close monitoring ensures the yeast performs well.

Density and pressure

Tracking these changes in real time helps control product quality.

AI-based optimization

AI models check historical data to suggest the best fermentation time and temperature, improving the taste and consistency of the product.

Automated Cleaning Cycles with IoT Sensors

CIP i.e Clean-in-Place used to take 4 hours every day at a juice factory. We installed conductivity sensors that check for milk protein stuck to the pipes.

Once the water runs clear, the system turns off automatically. Cleaning now takes only 82 minutes and uses 42% less water , using the same amount of chemicals, now workers can concentrate on other tasks, so there’s no risk of forgetfulness.

Sanitation is essential in the food and beverage industry, but the CIP process requires a lot of time and water. We automate and improve cleaning cycles with IoT sensors.

Filth Detection

Sensors identify how much residue is left on equipment before CIP.

Resource Efficiency

The system starts cleaning cycles only when needed, using the right amounts of water, chemicals, and energy for effective cleaning.

Record-keeping

We keep digital records for each cleaning cycle. This makes audits easier and ensures every machine is thoroughly cleaned.

Traceability of Food Products with IoT Tags

Consumers want to know where their food comes from, and you need to track every product in the event of a recall. Our solutions use IoT tags like RFID or NFC to record a product's journey from origin to store shelf.

Accurate tracking

We connect every batch and individual product to its source, processing data, and transportation history, allows clients to track everything accurately.

Transparency

You can find the contaminated batch quickly. Remove it from the market, action protects public health and improves transparency.

Fraud Reduction

It proves that your product is authentic.

An organic honey client needed proof from an overseas buyer. We placed NFC tags on every jar, tracing the entire journey from the forest bees in Chhattisgarh to the warehouse in Delhi.

The customer touches their phone and sees the bee box number, date, temperature, and humidity. No adulteration. Our client finally received an order for 4,000 jars from a buyer in Germany. They trust the scanning process themselves.

Smart Packaging with Freshness Monitoring

Food freshness is very important to consumers. We are developing smart packaging technology that shows the customer the actual condition of the product.

Temperature Indicator

Sensors built into the packaging track external temperature changes, showing how well the product was kept in the cold chain.

Gas Sensor

Monitors changes in the levels of gases, such as oxygen or CO2, inside the package to keep the product fresh and helps us make decisions and provides preventive alerts.

Reducing Waste

Customers will no longer depend only on the "Best By" date but will rely on the actual freshness indicator on the packaging.

We placed a small sensor in a mango box for an exporter. It tracks ethylene gas, humidity, and temperature. When a mango reaches 18% ripeness, the sensor changes color from green to yellow.

The warehouse manager gets a notification through an app. The mangoes arrive in Dubai perfectly ripe, with none spoiling. Before, 12% of the stock would go bad.

Now it’s down to 0.8%. The packaging cost increased by just 4 rupees, saving millions in losses.

Successful Client Stories & Case Studies

Mushroom Factory

Our most unique case study: “The Breathing Mushroom Factory”

Challenge

Our most unique case study, "A Mushroom Breathing Factory," tells a story you won't find anywhere else. We created it for a farmer in Himachal Pradesh and we named it "BreathFlow."

The farmer grew shiitake mushrooms. The challenge was that mushrooms breathe. Too much CO2 would make them taste bitter. Too little humidity would dry them out. Any sensor available at the time only offered 8-hour data on CO2 levels. We developed a new solution.

We installed micro sensors on every shelf to send data on CO2, O2, ethylene, and the surface temperature of the mushrooms every 30 seconds.

But we added a unique element: we glued a thin biofilm over the mushrooms to measure their breathing rate. This tracked how quickly the mushrooms released CO2.

We then processed 1,800 batches of data using AI. The AI discovered that when the respiration rate went over 12 ppm/minute, the mushrooms would turn bitter after 9 hours. The system automatically adjusted the ventilation as needed, keeping the conditions just right.

What set this apart was that we also included satellite UV radiation data. Increased sunlight boosted mushroom growth by 18%. The AI provided warnings, saying, "UV will peak today at 2 PM, reduce CO2 set point from 800 to 720 ppm."

Result

The farmer's production jumped from 1 tonne to 4.2 tonnes per month and bitterness disappeared. Five-star hotels in Delhi began paying double because the taste consistent.

The farmer has since expanded to 22 acres. I won't reveal his name, but he still messages me every morning with updates. For example, he wrote, "UV is low today; reduce ventilation by 12%." Now, he is a global exporter, sending his mushrooms to Europe as well.

Secret Shelf Life Optimizer

A Unique Case Study: "The Secret Shelf Life Optimizer"

The Challenge

A large, premium organic juice company faced a serious problem. Their popular preservative-free juice, known for its natural freshness, was spoiling 24 to 48 hours before its shelf life.Even slight disruptions in the cold chain caused this issue.

It was a major threat to waste and their brand reputation. Existing sensors only tracked temperature and did not provide insights into what was happening inside the product.

Adequate Infosoft's Unique Solution

We developed a solution that is not available online, which we called the "Micro-Radiant Sensor Matrix."

In-Tank Micro-Sensors

We installed small, food-safe optical sensors inside the fermentation tank and juice mixing tank. These sensors measure subtle changes in light patterns within the juice instead of just temperature.

AI 'Freshness Signature'

The juice's freshness links directly to its pH and sugar-acid balance, which change light refraction. We created an AI model to train this sensor data with actual juice spoilage data. This model learned a unique 'freshness signature' for each batch.

Prediction Engine

The AI model now uses hourly data from cold storage to predict when a specific batch of juice will start to spoil. This prediction is based on the manufacturing process rather than just the date on the label.

Results

35% reduction in wastage: The company quickly prioritized specific batches identified by the AI as having a shorter shelf life.

Increased consumer satisfaction:

Batches that the AI found to be more stable were sold with greater confidence.

Savings

In just one year, reduced juice waste and optimized production processes resulted in savings.

This solution is uniquely ours because it uses AI and optical sensors to measure and predict internal chemical changes in the liquid product, rather than just tracking external temperature.
