Our system includes Panic Button and SOS Alert features, in an emergency, like a sudden fall, theft, or danger at home, pressing the panic button or using the SOS alert in the app sends an immediate notification to the relevant authorities and your chosen contacts. Smart Home Security

Case Study: “Security 360,” A Smart Home Security Project with AI-IoT-Based Multi-Device Integration

Background

We developed this solution with homeowners in mind, especially those with rental properties or those who travel and want to care for their homes while their elderly parents or kids are there.

We started this solution for a travel agent and a business consultant who travels abroad two to three times each month. The house has office space on the ground floor, family areas on the first floor, and a rental apartment on the top floor.

The Ajax Security System base kits and Tuya Smart Locks were already installed, but they used different apps. This caused confusion for monitoring and control.

The owner's main concerns included:

  1. Monitoring different systems from one location.
  2. Creating separate security rules for the office and home.
  3. Direct connection to the local police station for emergency alerts.
  4. Limited-time access control for guests and tenants.
  5. Controlling everything from a mobile and web app.

Challenge

The SDKs/APIs for Ajax, Tuya, and third-party IoT devices such as Motion Sensors, Gas Leak Detectors, and Wi-Fi Cameras were different and Ajax's Cloud API works over an encrypted protocol, while Tuya's system employs MQTT-based real-time communication.

The owner wanted all devices to function from a shared dashboard, avoiding the need to open any third-party apps.

Solution

The Adequate Infosoft team designed a custom integration middleware that connects Ajax, Tuya, and other IoT devices into a single platform.

Key Components

Ajax Security Bridge Module

Real-time status polling and event triggering (Arm/Disarm, Motion Detected, Alarm Triggered) were integrated through the Ajax Cloud API. Events were sent to our middleware using webhooks.

Tuya Smart Lock Integration

The Tuya IoT Platform's MQTT Gateway was added to facilitate lock/unlock status, access logs, and temporary PIN creation from our app. We implemented an Auto Lock Routine so that when the Ajax System enters "Arm" mode, Tuya Locks automatically lock.

Gas Leak Detector and Smoke Sensor Integration

These were third-party Zigbee-based devices. We connected their Gateway to our custom app and synchronized it with the Ajax Alarm System. If a Gas Leak Alert is received, the Ajax Alarm is triggered, and the Tuya Smart Lock unlocks simultaneously, providing an easier exit in an emergency.

Mobile & Web App Dashboard

A single UI allows users to view Ajax's Security Status, Tuya Lock Logs, and Sensor Alerts. Arm/Disarm, Lock/Unlock, or SOS Alerts can be controlled from here.

Role-Based Access Feature

Lock control for tenants is limited to their room only.

Emergency Automation Workflow

If an Ajax Alarm is triggered and motion is detected in the home, the system automatically sends an alert to local authorities via SMS/API. Camera recording starts automatically and is saved to cloud storage.

Noise Profiling Security

A Unique Case Study: "The Noise Profiling Security Filter"

The Challenge

We built this system for a high-end apartment complex that had a problem, their expensive traditional security system often triggered false alarms from barking dogs, loud music, or passing trucks. This wasted the time of security personnel and made them miss alerts for real intruders. They needed a system that could only detect human threats.

Adequate Infosoft's Unique Solution

We developed a solution that did not exist online, which we named the "AI-Powered Acoustic Detection and Filtering System (AI-Acoustic Profiler)."

Microphone Array Installation

We installed highly sensitive microphones around the perimeter and balconies of the apartments. These microphones do not record sounds but capture sound patterns (acoustic signatures).

AI 'Human Action' Model

We trained the AI on millions of acoustic data points, the AI now recognizes the unique sound of human footsteps, the distinct sound of breaking glass, and the noise of a metal gate being forced open. Most importantly, it differentiates a dog barking from the sound of strong wind.

Sound Filtering

The system continuously listens for external noise while filtering out everything except the acoustic signature linked to real intrusions. Alerts trigger only when there is a strong indicator of human intrusion.

Integrated Visual Verification

When a 'human action' alert activates, the system immediately starts recording the relevant camera feed and sends a 10-second video clip to the security team’s app, allowing them to confirm the situation in real time.
