We built a smart production monitoring system for an auto parts manufacturing unit. This system included IoT sensors installed on each machine, measuring machine runtime, article count, vibration, and temperature.
Data was transmitted to the Azure cloud in real-time. Production supervisors could view machine-by-machine output and efficiency on a web dashboard.
Any abnormal temperature or vibration on a machine would result in an immediate notification to the operator's mobile app.
