LivestoX – A smart solution for dairy farming

LivestoX is a special software developed by Adequate Infosoft for the dairy industry. It is currently being used in dairy farms that have 500 to 700 animals, cows, buffalo, and their calves.

What does LivestoX do?

Each morning during feeding, the animals' body temperature and weight are recorded automatically using specialized hardware such as weighing scales and temperature sensors, removing the need for manual checks.

Each animal has a unique RFID tag. This tag detects its weight and temperature and sends the data directly to the software via serial port communication. That means everything is automatic—no slips, no mistakes.

Why is this system special?

We’ve observed that internet connectivity can sometimes be an issue in farm areas. To keep this in mind, the data is saved locally in a SQLite database so that the system can run even without the internet.

Whenever there is internet or connectivity—be it Bluetooth, USB, or any other method—the data is sent to the main server. And then this data becomes visible through the mobile app as well.
