Recently, we developed a custom iOS and Android app, simplified and tailored to the client’s company branding, including colors and logo.

Setup:

We use a smart NFC lock from the manufacturer Kerong kerong model KR-NFC-CL5126.
The lock features “auto close”, which automatically locks after 5 seconds.
It is equipped with an NFC chip that uses energy harvesting, requiring no battery. The chip used is Infineon NAC1080.

Functionalities include:

Opening the lock
Overview of linked locks
Adding new locks
Sharing temporary access with a third party
The lock can only be powered and opened by a phone, as it serves as the energy source for the lock.

We did a project where users could open NFC locks through their mobile phones. It also had remote logging and access tracking. Users could easily share locks, and admins could control who could open the locks.

In an office, we did NFC card integration. Employees had to enter and exit the office using NFC cards. The system had time stamps and log recording, which strengthened security.

Event Ticketing and Payment System

We built an event app that used NFC tickets. Users could enter by scanning the ticket, and payments could be made directly through NFC.

NFC-Based Patient Tracking App

We made an NFC-based patient tracking app for a hospital. The nurse scans the patient’s badge with a phone, and the records are updated in real time. This was implemented using the Android NFC API.
