Client Overview

Adequate Infosoft teamed up with a U.S.-based industrial machinery customer to create an intelligent Automated Electrodeposition Paint System, they needed a way to monitor important system parameters in real-time, record efficient data, and access actionable insights via the use of mobile applications.

Project Objective

The primary objective of this project was to create a mobile app & data logger for gathering key performance statistics (voltage, temperature, and DC current) from the customer’s system. The project required accurate data collection, simple Bluetooth connectivity, as well as easy-to-use visualization by operators using both Android and iOS devices.

Solution Design

A systematic process was used to develop the complete solution for the project.

Hardware Development

High-quality sensors and actuators were carefully selected to achieve highly accurate data measurements. An ESP32-based controller was used to control data acquisition and data communications functions.

Firmware Development

The embedded firmware was designed to provide the ability to store data in real-time, trigger data recording based on external stimuli, manage battery operation, and allow BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) communications. Both local and mobile applications were used to visualize and analyze the data that was generated.

Mobile Application Development

The development of native mobile applications provided the capability to build a real-time dashboard, display historical data using graph charts and generate reports, and to have advanced capabilities to perform calibrations, establish and manage alerts, and export to CSV for offline analysis.
