PillDispencer Application

We developed the PillDispencer application for our USA client as a robust WPF-based solution designed to automate pill dispensing through seamless hardware–software integration.

This system provides the ability to interact with devices, scale management, and batch processing, to provide accurate calibration, the ability to manage tare weights, and trim batch weights through the immediate communication between the software and the weighing device/control card.

Through the combination of intuitive HMI screens and stack light indicators, these programs help improve accuracy and safety and improve efficiencies for pharmaceutical work processes.

The project has been active for the last five years, with many users currently utilizing the solution across multiple facilities.

The dependable nature of the solution is due to its carefully designed architecture, including secure logins, a logical approach to project file handling, connect devices through COM ports for configuration, a predefined process for calibrating weights (to provide a 100% accurate weight), and a means of adjusting set points, zero, span, and tare using the basic settings that are automatically saved and calibrated to provide consistent batch weights.

Not only does the PillDispencer provide technical accuracy, it also has demonstrated its overall value to the end users by providing reduced manual errors, improved batch processing, and better support to healthcare providers, allowing them to provide consistent delivery of patient care.

Its long-term adoption highlights the trust and satisfaction of end users, making it a successful example of how WPF technology can power industrial automation solutions.

MalwareSecurity System, Legacy Platform Overview

MalwareSecurity is a robust security monitoring and threat detection system developed in WPF, C# by the engineering team at Adequate Infosoft.

Built and maintained over the past six years, this legacy platform has evolved into a reliable defense layer for detecting, analyzing, and neutralizing malware threats across enterprise environments.

The .NET framework and C# were utilized to create a system that was designed and developed from the ground up. Using strong type checking and fast processing, real-time systems (scanning engines, monitoring, and response) were built.

From its initial release as a simple signature-based detection tool, the platform has significantly evolved into a security platform that provides round-the-clock monitoring (with the ability to detect suspicious activity) and trigger automated threat responses that are initiated prior to a threat being able to spread.

This system has continued to evolve since the first version was released, evolving to incorporate new threat intelligence, improved detection effectiveness, and adapting to the ever-changing threat landscape. The longevity of this system is a result of the solid foundation established at the beginning of its lifecycle.

Today, MalwareSecurity stands as a critical internal security asset, protecting organizational infrastructure through a combination of rule-based detection, behavioral analysis, and proactive threat management — all built and sustained by a dedicated in-house team.

Industrial IoT Energy Monitoring System (WPF + Microchip)

Real-time energy monitoring and automated intelligence were developed in this WPF-based system as a means to effectively monitor energy and automate an intelligent industrial process. The system incorporates IoT working together with Microchip-based hardware and various sensors to allow for real-time collection of power data from machines and industrial devices.

The user interface is executed via a WPF desktop application allowing users to monitor their power consumption patterns, detect efficiencies or inefficiencies, and evaluate the distribution of loads for multiple devices. Additionally, the system can log data while offline and will sync to a central server when connectivity is re-established.

As a means of displaying energy trends and peak usage times and identifying abnormal energy consumption, the advanced visualization dashboards developed aid industries in reducing costs and improving the efficient use of energy, supporting industries in meeting their sustainability goals.

In addition to providing a secure means of communicating between devices, the scalable architecture of this system allows industries to deploy a WPF-based energy monitoring solution on an extensive scale.

Telehealth EMR/EHR Desktop System (WPF)

This Telehealth EMR/EHR Desktop System is the most innovative Health IT Product available for hospitals and clinics. This is an innovative integrated approach to managing patient records, diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and monitoring all patients' vital signs in real-time via IoT technology through patient IoT devices (such as wearable and medical devices).

The Desktop Application is built to operate without connectivity (offline first), so doctors have access to critical patient data when there are outages in the network. The system will also have AI assistance for diagnosis, and streamline the integration of HL7 and FHIR, and implement secure auditing for compliance.

The desktop application will also integrate with medical devices such as BP cuffs and pulse oximeters so that live patient data from the devices will be streamed into the EMR database for use by the medical team and will support teleconsultation, email prescriptions, and create access control (role-based) for HCPs.

Overall, this solution will greatly improve clinical efficiency, reduce the time it takes to create documentation, and improve the accuracy of patient care.

Custom POS System Using WPF

The custom point of sale (POS) system was created for a retailer operating across multiple sites using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). The custom-built POS integrates fast, reliable offline billing capability with the ability to continue processing transactions even when there is no Internet connection.

In addition to using artificial intelligence-driven analytics for sales forecasting and analysis of customer behaviour, the custom point of sale system also integrates several Internet of Things (IoT) devices (e.g., cash drawers, barcode scanners, receipt printers) to provide accurate inventory management through real-time inventory updates with automatic stock deduction processed after each sale has occurred.

The retail point of sale supports multiple methods of payment (including cash and credit cards), loyalty programs and role-based access control for staff. The focus of the custom-built WPF-based retail point of sale was to provide a performance-oriented solution that increased the speed of checkout and decreased the number of errors made by cashiers, thereby increasing retail business efficiencies across all retail business locations.
